The wait for the follow-up to Tool’s 10,000 Days was the stuff of meme legend, but while speaking with Cleveland Scene recently, drummer Danny Carey revealed that he doesn’t expect the follow-up to Fear Inoculum to take anywhere near the 13-year wait its predecessor did.
Carey also said that he’s sure it won’t take them that long for the next one.  They even had some songs and riffs left over that they will develop.

SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor and his solo band will play on their first U.K. headline shows this fall. The dates kick off at London’s legendary Palladium on October 17 and include a special gig on Friday, October 21 at the pre-party of the For The Love Of Horror convention at Manchester’s BEC Arena. Direct support will come from CHERRY BOMBS, led by Taylor‘s wife Alicia Taylor.
After just about two years, Pearl Jam have announced their rescheduled North American tour dates, and have added a couple of new shows to their itinerary.
There won’t be a general public sale for tickets for the tour. To get tickets, fans will have to sign up through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration, which is open now through Sunday, March 2nd.
