Cloverfield Commotion

I’ve never seen Cloverfield.  What’s the allure?  Why does this movie warrant a revisit? I’ve got Netflix, but not sure I want to start with this one, without watching the OG.

The little ones at my home like Fuller House, Pee Wee’s Playhouse, and Super Why, the adults are almost caught up with The Crown and are embarking on Halt and Catch Fire soon.
