McHenry Sham-rocks the Fox!

Join the City of McHenry, Blarney Island and WIILRock for a weekend of fun in downtown McHenry.
The St. Patrick’s Day weekend festivities kickoff on Friday at 5 and wrap up after the fireworks on Sunday.
Friday night enjoy live music with THE FEELGOOD LEPRECHAUNS, VINYL GOLDMINE AND 7TH HEAVEN. Plus food and other family fun at Miller Point Park.
Saturday there’s the Shamrock Shuffle 5k run followed by the Fox River getting dyed green at 10. The parade kicks off at Noon, make sure to keep an eye out for the WIIL Rock vehicle. There will be family fun, food and live music from THE MESSENGERS TRIBUTE TO THE IRISH, CLASSICAL BLAST IN KILTS, JOSH VAL AND JOHNNY FROM SEMPLE BAND AND FAST TIMES all at Miller Point Park.
Then on Sunday the fun kicks off at Noon with live music from JESS PIANO GOES IRISH, ONSET AND THE GOO ROOS. There will be other family fun and food as well and the night wraps up with a firework display starting at 7pm
