The band Sponge dropped a new album back in September titled “1994” that showcases the band doing their version of songs that came out in that year. The latest release comes with a video of them covering Alice In Chains’ No Excuses’ featuring Taproot’s Stephen Richards.
Bullet For My Valentine have entered the studio to start recording their eighth album, tentatively scheduled for release in 2025. The band shared the news on social media with a post featuring photos from the studio, accompanied by the message, “Here we go again. #bfmv #bulletformyvalentine #Vlll.” This marks the band’s first major studio effort since their 2021 album The Ghost Inside. You can see Bullet For My Valentine when they play with Trivium Saturday, April 26th, at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.
And finally, Former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di’Anno, 66, died on October 21st at his home and his family revealed yesterday that the cause of death was a tear in the sac around his heart, leading to fatal internal bleeding. The death was instantaneous and believed to have been painless.
