95 WIIL ROCK BREAKDOWN 11/05/2024…. Primus…. Tony Iommi…. Zakk Wylde….
Tim “Herb” Alexander, former drummer of Primus, has announced his departure from the band, citing the need to prioritize his mental and physical health. In a recent interview, he expressed that the decision was challenging but necessary for his well-being and family life. Alexander, nearly 60 and facing health issues from decades of drumming, stated, “My body hurts constantly,” and emphasized that he wants to be present for his family.
Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi claims the Hard Rock Cafe is refusing to return his valuable 1964 Gibson “Monkey” SG Special guitar. Iommi had initially sold the guitar to the cafe under the agreement that he could buy it back if needed, but after the memorabilia buyer’s death, Hard Rock staff were unaware of the arrangement.
And finally, Zakk Wylde, performed the U.S. national anthem on Sunday before the Seahawks’ Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field in Seattle.
