BODY COUNT, the metal band led by Ice-T, has released a powerful rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” featuring David Gilmour. The new version combines Gilmour’s haunting guitar work with BODY COUNT’s intense sound. The band also announced that their new album, “Merciless,” will be released on November 22 via Century Media.

Megadeth canceled their September 15 concert at Virginia Credit Union Live! in Richmond, Virginia, due to “unexpected and unpredictable circumstances.” Peter Frampton, scheduled to perform there on September 17, also canceled, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” During a September 19 show in Philadelphia, Frampton suggested that structural damage to the stage after Megadeth’s soundcheck might be the cause, saying, “I’m not blaming them — could have been another band — but it looks pretty like it.”

And finally, Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has confirmed the band’s members have parted ways, following an incident where singer Perry Farrell attacked him onstage during a September 13 concert. In a social media post announcing their new single “True Love,” Navarro expressed pride in the song but sadness that it may never be performed live.
